- Can your Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) see me for medical conditions not related to my mental health condition?

- Will I see a Psychiatrist/Medical Doctor at my visits?

No, your visits will be with our practice PMHNP. Our PMHNP meets with the practice collaborative psychiatrist and discuss cases. If our practice PMHNP feels the need to schedule a visit with our practice collaborative psychiatrist, you will be notified.
- I am having an urgent mental health crisis when the office is open. What should I do?

Dial 911. Visit your local emergency room to be seen. Dial 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline to talk to a mental health professional.
- Do you prescribe stimulants?

Patients who are transferring from their current psychiatrists or PMHNP MUST provide records for review and on a case-by-case basis will these patients be accepted as a patient at Harmonize Your Mental Health.
- Do you prescribe pain medications?

No. Please contact your primary care provider for all your pain care medication needs.
- Do you offer free consultations?

We offer a free review of your past mental health medical records to ensure that our services line up with your needs. Patients are responsible for gathering medical information for our provider to review. Same day record reviews are an unreasonable expectation. If you are in need of a mental health evaluation urgently, visit your local mental health urgent care center.
- Do you offer payment plans?

No. Full payment is before the start of your appointment.
- Will you share information from my visits with anyone else?

This is not a simple yes or no answer. We follow all applicable HIPAA rules and regulations. A patient’s written consent is required to share your health information with our practice and with your other providers. When a patient states that they are a threat to themselves or others, this information is reportable as per federal and state guidelines without your consent.
- What is a telehealth video-visit?

Patients will be seen via a HIPAA compliant video platform. Patients must have access to a device that is compatible and capable of completing visits via video.
- Do you offer in-person office visits?

Benzodiazepines are highly addictive. Patients who are transferring from their current psychiatrists or PMHNP MUST provide records for review and on a case-by-case basis will these patients be accepted as a patient at Harmonize Your Mental Health.
- Do you accept insurance?

Credentialing with North Carolina’s major and some commercial insurances are currently awaiting approval. Stay tuned for updates.
- How much do your services cost?

New patient consultation visits: $250.00 Follow-up visits: $100 No-show fee: $25 more than 2 no shows will result in discharge from our practice. No show fee must be paid prior to the patient being seen again.
